Chiropractic and the Bodies Ability To Heal

I'm, Ann Arbor Chiropractor Michael Tannenbaum, D.C. This week I'm writing about how chiropractic promotes the bodies ability to heal itself.

Chiropractors practice a non-pharmacological non-invasive form of healthcare that focuses on the nerve and musculoskeletal systems. The nerve system is really the bedrock of the bodies ability to function. That is, the nerve system carries all the information from the brain to the body and the body to the brain so that the body can function. Thus, without proper nerve system function the body has a hard or impossible time healing itself. With proper nerve system function the body is healthier and has an easier time healing when sick. Some times drugs and surgery can be helpful in healing and this is most obvious in emergency situations. Drugs often however, negatively affect the body especially over the long run. So, the best approach to improving the bodies ability to self heal is a non-drug non-surgical approach to improving nerve system function and this is what chiropractic does. Chiropractic care, proper exercise and proper diet are really the best way to promote healthy nerve system function and the bodies ability to heal.

So, as most Chiropractors believe, chiropractic can do more then get rid of neck pain, back

pain, headaches, tingling and numbness in the arms and legs. Chiropractors believe

chiropractic can make you healthier over all, less likely become sick and increase your ability

to heal.
