Think Positive!

Today’s blog is really not based on scientific fact, but on my personal experience and I'm quite sure the experience of most people. That is, and simply put by the saying “if you smile the world will smile with you.” In other a words, those who think and act in a positive way usually have a happier existence. So, I suggest that if you think and act in a positive way you to will be happier. Seems simple enough, but for many it's hard to carry on in a positive way. An approach I suggest and use myself to increase positive thinking and act on my positive thoughts is to simply be more aware of thinking in a positive way and then really make a concerted effort to incorporate those thoughts in your day to day activities. I have also noticed another benefit of having a positive approach and that hits home with me as a Chiropractor, is that people with a positive approach tend to have less health problems over the long run then those with a less then positive approach. In my practice I notice that the more positive acting patients tend to recover faster from back pain, neck pain, headaches,etc,. Also, those that are less then positive generally, I believe, create more stress for themselves then those who are more positive and of course it is well known that stress causes ill health. In any event, try to be more positive and I think you'll be happier (and healthier).
