Children and Chiropractic

~~From the desk of Ann Arbor Chiropractor Mike Tannenbaum, D.C.

With all the things parents do to make sure their children are raised to be healthy and vibrant, they often neglect to add one thing that can make a big difference and that one thing is chiropractic care. Chiropractic care should begin when the child is a newborn. The birth process can be very hard on the child causing neck and shoulder problems among other things. As the child grows and learns to walk, run, play, play sports etc., the child's musculoskeletal and nerve systems can be negatively affected, causing short and long-term problems. Chiropractic care can mitigate these problems allowing the child to reach as close to it's 100% potential as possible. I see children in my Ann Arbor office for back pain, neck pain, headaches, torticollis and other issues. Without chiropractic these children would probably have long-term problems that would negatively impact their lives. I highly recommend you bring your child to a chiropractor and as early in the child's development as possible.
