Running This Fall

~~Studies have shown that running is good for your physical and mental health. On top of that, fall season is an especially nice time to run. The humidity is low, the air feels fresh and fall foliage is often beautiful. So, now is a good time to get out there and run. Below I've listed some of the benefits of running.

-Running is shown to relieve stress, lower anxiety, lower pain and in general make you feel better. This all takes place in a large part because running releases endorphins into the body.

-Running improves cardiovascular function and lung function.

-Running increases leg and core strength.

-Running can increase bone density.

-Running burns lots of calories thus it helps with weight control.

-Studies have shown that people that run regularly live longer (an average of three years longer).

-Running is often very convenient. You don't need to belong to a gym to run just need a good pair of tuning shoes and appropriate attire.

-For many running is fun and once you have run enough to get into the necessary physical condition you could take part in running races or join a running club.

So, there are many reasons to run and as I mentioned earlier fall is a great time to get out and run.

As a side note, many runners go to chiropractors to maintain there a health and to make sure that there bone structure is even. An even bone structure makes your running more efficient and reduces the wear and tear on the body and the chance of injuries.
