Chiropractic Care

~~In our chiropractic office in Ann Arbor we offer three types of chiropractic care and one type of care progresses to the next. This treatment care protocol is used for people who have any number of ailments from neck pain to headaches to mid back pain to low back pain to pelvis pain. These three types of  care are named initial intensive care, reconstructive care and wellness care.
Initial intensive care usually eliminates the pain that the patient is experiencing. Here we adjust the bones so that they are properly aligned and the treatments are closer together then with the other types of care. Reconstructive care is in many ways the most important part of the care protocol because with reconstructive care we are working to get the bones to remain in proper alignment. In reconstructive care one will be treated over a longer period of time then with initial intensive care. In our Ann Arbor office the reconstructive part of the care process chiropractic adjustments and take home exercises are primarily used. Wellness care is all about maintaining what has been accomplished with initial intensive and reconstructive care. Some people call this wellness care maintenance care. Here one will be treated much less often, but ideally this type of care will continue through out one's life. That is, so to maintain the health one has achieved through initial intensive and reconstructive care.
