Chiropractic, Pain Medication and Professional Football

People in the U.S. love professional football. Millions go to professional football games and at least 200 million others watch professional football games on television each year. There is some consternation, however, on the use of pain medication to keep football players playing when they are hurt. Many see the pain medications given to players detrimental to the players health. Pain medication only masks the pain produced by the injury (does not heal the injury) allowing the player to continue playing potentially making the injury worse. There is also the potential for addiction to pain medication, as well as other negative side effects. However, for the last 20 years or so there has been a huge up tick in one health care treatment that is drug free, found to be exceptionally effective in keeping the football players playing while minimizing pain, improving health and improving athletic performance. with no negative side affects and that treatment is chiropractic. Chiropractic has been found to be so effective that know every professional football team has a chiropractor(s) on staff. As a matter of fact, if you look closely at the sidelines during a game you may see a chiropractor giving a chiropractic adjustment to players (to get them quickly back on the field). There are many testimonials from some of the most famous football players on how chiropractic has helped them get back on the field after injury, improved there athletic performance and even saved their carriers. Some of the pro's who have been cheer leaders for chiropractic are Jerry Rice, Michael Strahan, Joe Montanna, and Aaron Rogers,

Chiropractic is a great way to prevent injuries and help heal from injuries. It's a great form of health care for

all athletes and should be the first line of care before the use of pain medication.
