Neck Bone Misalignment

From the Desk Of Ann Arbor Chiropractor, Dr. Mike Tannenbaum, D.C.

If you have chronic neck pain and/or if you have chronic poor neck posture, you likely have misalignment of your neck spinal bones. To compound this, you have the weight of a bowling bowl pressing down on your neck bones. That is, your head weighs about as much as a bowling bowl and that weight will likely make already misaligned bones misalign further. The weight will also likely cause the misaligned bones to degenerate faster and in a more pronounced manner then normal. So, and it probably seems obvious, you should try to find a way to decrease you neck bone misalignment. As a Chiropractor, one of my goals is to realign my patient's spinal bones (and of course, the neck bones are apart of the spinal bones). So, I would recommend that if you believe you have misaligned neck bones, you go to a Chiropractor to have him or her diagnosis the degree of misalignment and set a course of treatment to help you regain proper alignment.
