Aging and Chiropractic

From The Desk of Chiropractor, Mike Tannenbaum, D.C.

Aging is obviously part of the human condition and a part of aging is degeneration of the body. This degeneration affects the joints and bones such that as one ages one feels more aches, pain and stiffness, including back pain and neck pain There is a direct correlation with the more joint, bone and muscles injuries you have experienced through out your life and an increase in joint, bone and muscle discomfort as you age. Part of the reason for this is that bones that are out of place for any reason, including injury, will cause the bones, joints and muscles associated with the out of place bones to degenerate more rapidly and one could say, degenerate the wrong way. Chiropractors have long understood this and offer the ideal therapy to make sure that out of place bones are put back back into the proper place so that your bones don't degenerate incorrectly as you age while lessening the level of aches and pains you may experience as you age.
